I’m back

I’m back

So for those who have been with me for a while, you know that I had to back off of blogging for a while in order to get myself organized.

I feel like I literally blinked and the summer was over. Attempting to work in a new business venture and a book into the already demanding life of building the magazine has been interesting to say the least. You know that web development was also a huge part of my life and that is now transitioning to a much smaller place. When doing an evaluation of priorities and getting ready to move into the 4th quarter in just a few short weeks, I realized I wasn’t being very effective. So I am not just departing forever but I am significantly changing the way it fits into my life. If you have been following me on social media you may have seen my newest venture, Transformers Fitness. It sounds totally separate from Ambition but it is so directly correlated to my life and fitness journey it is about of the Ambition lifestyle. The book was launched on my birthday and that was an amazing day. I can’t remember the last time I had that much fun and the books sales are still rolling in so we are good there too.

Anyway, I am back and ready to blog. I have decided to have a couple different blog sections. Ambitious & Annoyed, which you are most familiar with. This segment is about all of the things that I see, some ambitious, some annoying, either way it will be a good read. I am also going to have a media based blog that will be highly focused on my experiences as a magazine publisher and the things that I want to see more in the media world. It will also be some helpful tips for reaching out to media professionals. Sometimes you are not getting responses because of your approach and your track record. I will also have a web development/ maintenance blog. There will be tips on how to get started and maintain your website on a minimal budget. We will discuss all of those in the upcoming blogs. Now today is an off day for me but I was just so eager to reach out. Look for the latest blog drops on Monday, Wednesday & Friday. I plan to have a lot more guest spots this year so I can share the wisdom of those that are sowing into me.

LeKeisha, you are doing great things. I wish you continued success. I definitely understand how it sometimes becomes necessary to step away from things and come back more focused and organized.

A good read. If you are in web development I would love to network with you. I am currently taking a couple web development classes and would like to network with other web developers if possible.

Email me Shayla, info@lekeishanicole.com. I have stepped back to do more education than development.
